Woven with a vibrant geometric pattern, this Guanábana tote is mindfully handcrafted in Colombia by the indigenous Wayuu people of the Guajira Peninsula.
The Wayuu are the people of the sun, sand, and wind. Talented artisans, they infuse each collection with intricate techniques that reflect the diverse regions of South America and the beauty of the natural world. A form of slow design, each creation takes 14-20 days to complete.

Guanábana Handmade's design headquarters are located in Madrid and all production based in South America. The collection was started Almudena Espinosa and her mother with the desire to create job opportunities for the local communities in her mother's native country of Colombia. Currently producing in Colombia, Guatemala and Peru, Almudena and her mother work closely with the artisans and have established long term relationships with the surrounding communities. All of the designs are 100% handmade.
