Handcrafted in Ghana
Indego Africa's Bamileke stools, inspired in their design by traditional Cameroonian chairs, feature carved wooden animal figures, lined with white and black beading, as well as cowrie shells—an ancient form of currency. These one-of-a-kind pieces not only make for great décor, but also harken back to the time-honored Ghanaian tradition of carving sacred wooden stools for the King, Queen, and Chiefs. Handcarved cedrela wood stool. White beads and cowry accents.
