Handwoven in Rwanda
This 15” decorative base setting can be used as a dining placemat when entertaining guests, a centerpiece, or a wall hanging decoration. With culturally inspired designs and colors, one or more of these placemats will make a globally conscious and stylistic addition to your next dinner party. Made only in an ethical, fair trade environment, your placemat is one of a kind and expertly handwoven by a cooperative of women.
This placemat is made from natural sisal and sweet grass fibers and dyed using organic dyes. It is food safe, heat resistant, and features a hang loop on the back for wall décor. When caring for your placemat do not submerge or wash with water. If necessary, simply use a damp cloth to wipe clean.
*All products are made by hand with love and vary slightly in color and size.
