Accompany Us To Colombia

Our stylish Mico Mochila Crossbody is handwoven in Colombia by women of the indigenous Wayuu tribe using their traditional methods. The scaled-down modern size makes it the perfect bag to quickly grab when you're on the go. Soft, compact, and versatile, it's designed to hold just your essentials and features a comfortable cross-body strap. Not only does this bag look good, but it does good too– a portion of proceeds from each sale is donated to help provide food, water, and basic needs to the community and contributes to the preservation of the Wayuu's cultural heritage.

About The Artisans

Thoughtfully designed by Accompany and handcrafted by our artisan partners in Colombia. Lombia believes in empowering women to gain financial knowledge & freedom, providing +120 indigenous Wayuu with safe and meaningful work. The Wayuu are the largest indigenous group of Colombia. Inhabiting the desertic region of La Guajira, the northernmost point of South America, they are an autonomous and matriarchal tribe. More than exquisite craftsmanship, the Wayuu bags tell a handwoven story and represent a tradition of what it is to be a Wayuu woman.
