Over 58 different species of bamboo thrive in Northeast India, providing a highly sustainable source of everything from food, to flooring, to fabrics. These hand-carved bamboo utensils offer durability, beauty, and hope for curbing deforestation.

This object was crafted by skilled artisans supported by Sasha, a nonprofit fairtrade network which supports over 5,000 craftspeople in marginalized communities across India, over 70% of whom are women.
